There are a number of ways that you can participate in this, first-of-its-kind in Manitoba, Memorial Woodland.
- Share this information with like-minded individuals and become a champion of the cause;
- Provide a monetary donation to the Woodland;
- Present a deposit for your chosen tree and location in the Woodland;
- Sponsor one of the amenities in the Woodland (park bench, play structure).

In order to professionally market this project, we humbly ask for your immediate support. We are currently engaged in a marketing campaign, and need to secure funding for the following initiatives:
• Completion of a professional rendering of the layout and design of the project;
• Maintenance of this website;
• Social media campaigns;
• Additional professional promotional video production;
• Maintain registration costs for the not-for-profit corporation;
• Signage at the site.

When Will The Project Be Confirmed?
The Memorial Woodland has identified an ideal location for the forest. We have entered into an arrangement with the Rm of Brokenhead to acquire this property. This acquisition is conditional upon our being satisfied that we have a sufficient number of participants to make this project sustainable in perpetuity.
If sufficient interest is shown by our self-imposed deadline of May 1, 2025, (by way of $1000 deposits for reservation of a tree or space for planting of a tree), the project will be finalized. If the established threshold is reached, the deposits will become non-refundable and the Woodland will be landscaped and developed. If the threshold is not reached, all deposits will be returned in full.
